Hello peeps!

I’ve been MIA for a while but I’m back!  I was for a whole month in magical Ibiza. Jelly yet??? It was so much fun and relaxing: family, beach, food, Gin tonics…Ok i am going to stop hahaha. For this post I wanted to share with you three of my latest beauty finds =)

Let’s start with Gaudalie Huile Divine: Yes. it’s divine! This dry oil is packed with antioxidants from grapeseed as well as firming and moisturizing oils from argan, sesame, and hibiscus. It absorbs super fast leaving my skin soft and glowing. It has been a life saver after all these weeks under the sun. My skin was thirsty and needed something really hydrating. It says you can use it on your face and hair too…therefore it is a perfect multitasking oil to take on your next vacation. One more thing! It is free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. In Europe you can find this product/brand almost at any drug store/pharmacy. In the U.S you can find it at http://www.sephora.com and sephora stores.

Every summer I breakout! The combination of heat, humidity, and SPF creams are like a bomb for my skin. Two weeks ago my cheeks were full of mini pimples until I found La Roche-Posay EFFACLAR MAT. According to what it says on the tube, this is a sebo-regulating moisturizer, anti-shine, and anti-enlarged pores. You can wear it day and night. It has a matte finish so it is great for oily/combination skin. It really keeps your skin moisturized and I am breaking out less every day. My pores are definitely smaller and it is a great make-up base. This brand is very popular in Europe and their products are formulated for people with sensitive skin. They have no parabens or fragrances that can irritate the skin. I know I’ve seen this brand at Walgreens pharmacies if you live in the U.S. So far I am very pleased with the product, I am not sure it will be moisturizing enough during winter weather but I will keep you posted.

photo 4photo 5My everyday lipstick this summer was this Nars in Blonde Venus . Very natural shade, almost nude but it gives you a hint of color. It is in between glossy and matte. My lips feel soft and hydrated. Staying power…? I can give it a 6.5 out of 10. Great for everyday natural make-up or great to pair with a smokey eye at night. You can find this lipstick at department stores, http://www.sephora.com or http://www.nars.com.

My Tools Against Cellulite this Summer

Image

So…Summer is like right around the corner and I know we all have started taking extra care of our bodies in the past weeks. Maybe by going to the gym more often, watching our diet more closely, or buying firming and anti-cellulite creams. I will tell you about three things that I have incorporated into my beauty regime every morning to improve my skin and look bikini ready this summer.

There is one cream that I have been using for years now and that is CLARINS Body Lift Cellulite Control. I always try the new creams and gels on the market but I keep coming back to this one from Clarins every single time. It is the only cream that shows me results in as little as a week if I use it and massage it every morning or night. When I have time I use it twice a day. This cream is great to activate circulation and diminish the appearance of celullite. You can find this cream at most department stores and at http://www.sephora.com

Before I go in the shower every morning I brush my skin. Yes! I brush my skin with a cactus brush like the one on the picture. This brush helps in order to exfoliate, detoxify, and improve circulation. This brush can do wonders to your skin used regularly.  Skin brushing is more common than you think. Celebrities like Miranda Kerr swear by it and will not go a day without brushing. Even thou the bristles are made out of cactus please do not freak out! They are not soft but will not hurt or poke you. You start from your toes and move your way up until you reach your neck. Skin brushing has become very popular and you can find this brushes online or in stores. I bought mine from Elemis at http://www.elemis.com and it was around $45.

Last but not least I bring you the Cellu-Cup! I found this product inside my Birchbox (Spain). I was so curious about it. It looked like anything but and anti-cellulite tool if you know what I mean 😉 I immediately went online and watched a video explaining how to use it and that night I started. It did hurt a little and after the 2nd day I had a couple of bruises. After the fifth day I hardly felt any pain and I am very happy using it. Now I use it every other day and it is like having a contouring massage at home instead of paying for it at an expensive spa. You must use a body oil or cream to make the Cellu-Cup glide. This product is not available yet in the States but if you live in Europe you can find it at http://www.cellu-cup.com or if you have a friend that lives in Europe they can send it to you.

So that was my anti-cellulite routine! Leave a comment if you have any questions… =)
