Milk Makeup… I’m Obsessed!

I kept seeing this brand everywhere; Sephora, Urban Outfitters, Facebook…etc. I needed to find out what the fuss was all about. I bought the mascara and the lip + cheek tint. Both product are very good and I love the fact that they are made out of natural ingredients…Let’s get deeper into both products:

Milk Lip + Cheek Tint in Rally: Lovely texture and color…very easy to blend but since I have combination skin it will not stay on for long and I have to re-apply…not a big deal I still like it.

Milk Ubame Mascara in Inked: This mascara is definitely my favorite lately. Since I got it this is the only mascara I have been wearing. It gives my lashes definition and length. plus the look is so natural…what a surprise…love this mascara! Run and get it 😉

My Favorite Sunscreen

I have very sensitive skin. Every single sunscreen I’ve tried (no matter how expensive or if it’s oil free) they always break out. Plus I have combination skin and I find most sunscreens to be super heavy and I end up looking like a disco ball at the end of the day. Two years ago I got a free sample at a beauty store and I tried COOLA MINERAL SUNSCREEN. I loved the fact that it is all natural and 100% ORGANIC. It has like a whipped texture and it is super super light. Plus it has a matte finish which goes perfect with my combination skin. This product is packed with natural Rose Hip Oil which is rich in free radical fighting Vitamin C. Naturally calming Evening Primrose and Flax Seed Oils deliver abundant Omega-3 and Gamma-Linolenic Acid to improve elasticity and help skin retain moisture. Natural Shea Butter smoothes and hydrates while the phyto-protector Plankton Extract rejuvenates skin. These are all amazing/powerful ingredients. I never break out with this sunscreen which is totally amazing because I have been using it for two years and I am still hooked. Each tube lasts 4-5 months (in my case)…COOLA products are not cheap but really not that expensive compared to other luxury beauty brands which products are full of chemicals and artificial fragrances. After my HYDRAFACIAL Patricia did a little of rejuvenating laser which is great to stimulate collagen and firm skin. Everything took no more than an hour and I was so happy with the results. My skin looked decongested, glowy, and my pores… you could not even see them. What I liked the best about this facial is that my skin did not look irritated at all and I just went on with my day with a fabulous and glowy looking complexion.

Laura Mercier’s mascara is perfect for everyday use. It defines and adds length but you won’t get the transvestite lashes that I dislike so much during the day…

Givenchy’s new “mascara” I loveeee! The reason why I love it so much is because it is a dark black tint that you can wear on your lashes without getting the mascara look. Therefore your lashes will look darker and thicker but in a natural way. You can also use it throughout the day to refresh your mascara!

I am so into Korean make-up lately…They have such good quality products at really amazing price points. I found this mascara browsing through Amazon.com and the super skinny brush really caught my attention so I decided to get it. I usually use this mascara at night because it gives my lashes such an incredible volume and length that in my opinion it’s a little too much to wear during the day. This is a great mascara and I think I paid just like $10 for it.

Dior Summer Nails

Hello! So, I am loving these New Dior Nail Polishes. Front Row (769) is a vibrant reddish, hot pink with the perfect amount of shimmer. The color goes on like a dream. With just one coat you get the color to look just like you see it from the bottle. The color is glossy and saturated. I applied two coats to make it more intense and rich but believe me with just one is enough in case you need a quick “mani”.

Porcelaine (204) is a powder, baby blue, pastel color. So beautiful but I did have to apply 3 coats. With just one coat it looks very sheer. On the second coat you start to see the color nicely, but if you want it to look like you see it in the bottle you better apply three coats. So, in this case the color was not as intense and saturated as Front Row but still I like it. Also if you don’t like such a bold look on your nails you can leave it sheer or go as intense as you would like.

I must say that I love the brush on this Dior nail polishes. It makes the application very easy because of it’s tapered corners and soft bristles. I usually end up with a little bit of a mess around my nails when I do my own manicure, but this time I hardly had anything to clean after I was done =)

A couple of beauties I got in Rome!!!

Tom Ford Lip Color in NUDE VANILLE: Beautiful, creamy, nude lipstick. Very hydrating and has a delightful vanilla scent.

Tom Ford Nail Lacquer in Fever Pink: Great vibrant pink and the color is very saturated which I love. Perfect shade for Spring/Summer.

Benefit Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in KISS YOU: Okay so…I hate lip glosses, most of them are sticky and make me look so over done. BUT, this one I love because it is not sticky at all and it is very hydrating. It also plumps my lips and they have a sheen to it but not like if you just ate a greasy empanada. The color is like a plum/pinkish shade and it loves my light, olive skin.

YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush in #9: I must say that at first I just wanted to buy it because the packaging is so cute and it looks like a nail polish, but in reality it is a creamy/matte lip and cheek stain. I love matte lip products but sometimes they can make your lips look dry and cakey. NOT THIS ONE! This one has a beautiful finish that makes my lips feel very soft and you can make the color as light or as bold as you wish. The color I chose #9 is a nude pinky color that works great for day and night. Must have for this season 😉
