Beauty Products I Can’t Get Enough Of!

IMG_3459

Hello! It has been forever since my last post. I am so happy to share with you my latest obsessions in the beauty department. I have been trying lots of all natural beauty but I will leave that for my next post ;). I have noticed that the older I get the more simple and natural I like my makeup to look. I like my skin to look fresh and healthy without looking overdone. I will give you a little description/review of the products on the picture above…Ready?!

  1. TATA HARPER CLARIFYING MASK: This is a great mask and it is all natural and organic. It is an exfoliating mask but it can be used on sensitive skin like mine. You put it on for 10 minutes and then you remove it with warm water doing circular motions to remove dead cells and dirt. After rinsing your skin looks clean, bright, and your pores look tiny. I try to use it twice a week.
  2. HERBIVORE ROSE LIP SCRUB: I love taking care of my lips…We usually exfoliate our face and body but we ignore our lips completely unless it is time to put on some lipstick. I exfoliate my lips twice a week or whenever I feel they are dry and flaky. I grab a wet wipe and wrap it around my index finger. I grab some of the HERBIVORE lip scrub and start going at it in circular motions for at least 2 minutes. When I am done I rinse my lips and put on my magic lip balm which is the next product I will review. Your lips will feel soft, pink, plumped, and amazing. By the way HERBIVORE is an all natural skincare brand and their products and packaging are so amazing.
  3. RODIN OLIO LUSSO LIP BALM: Let me tell you guys…since I got this lip balm I wear it every day and every night. Since I’ve been wearing this my lips are soft 24/7. It is not a sticky lip balm and it has no color. It has a very subtle sheen because I do not like shiny lip glosses or lip balms. When I see the most difference is when I wear it overnight. I wake up and my lips look sooo amazing. Super plumped, full of moisture, and soft with that pinky healthy lip color. Run and get one!
  4. NARS CREAMY RADIANT CONCEALER IN CUSTARD: Like I mentioned before I hate the look of heavy makeup. I like the “makeup no makeup look” much better. This concealer goes on very smoothly because it is so creamyyyy…but it definitely does a great job at covering the redness under my eyes and any marks or pimples on my face without looking cakey or heavy. I bought it like 6 months ago and still loving it.
  5. CHANEL LE ROUGE CRAYON DE COULEUR IN BEIGE ROSE: This is such a beautiful nude color. Looks very natural and it is perfect to wear everyday. I like how moisturizing it is. Even though this formula is on the glossy side if you put it on your lips and then pad it with your finger you will get more matte look…like a stain look. Soooo cute!
  6. DIOR SHOW BROW STYLER IN UNIVERSAL DARK BROWN: I used to be obsessed with the Anastasia brow pencil. After using this Dior brow pen I love it so much. Perfect for defining my dark brown eyebrows. The color is so natural. It lasts all day and fits everywhere.
  7. DIOR LIP TATOO IN 491: I cannot get enough of this lip stain. Love the nude/mauve color because it enhances my natural lip color. Not drying like other lip stains. You feel like you are wearing a matte lip balm but with gorgeous natural color while hydrating your lips.

I hope you guys give some of these a try! Leave your comment if you have tried any of these…until next post.

Always in my bag…

IMG_3006

These items are always…ALWAYS in my bag! On regular days I do not wear much make-up, but I do not like to look dull or washed out. I carry these 5 beauty must-haves everywhere I go.

I love cream blushes…I like that they look so natural and give a flushed healthy look. Sometimes powder blushes look too chalky on my skin and do not look that natural. I love the glow that Β LE BLUSH CREME DE CHANEL gives to my face. It makes me look so fresh =) I wear color 66 FANTASTIC which is like a pinkish-fuschia. You need just a dab on your cheeks and lips and VOILA!!! You can find this creme blush at any department store or at http://www.chanel.com

Another blush that I love is the JOSIE MARAN COCONUT WATERCOLOR CHEEK GELEE in GETAWAY RED. This dark red tint gives you such a natural healthy look its crazy!!! Plus it is all natural and made with coconut water to keep your skin moisturized and glowy. You can find this at http://www.sephora.com

Next is my favorite concealer in the world: SARAH McNAMARA MIRACLE SKIN TRANSFORMER EYE AND FACE CONCEALER. I wear this on all my imperfection and it has a velvety texture that blends so perfect with my skin tone. My skin looks flawless after I use it. I wear the medium shade. You can find this product at http://www.nordstrom.com or at http://www.gilt.com which they sometimes have it on sale πŸ˜‰

My PACIFICA COLOR QUENCH LIP TINT in VANILLA HIBISCUS has been my go-to lip balm for a while now. I feel like a lot of lip balms dry out my lips so when I find something that actually keeps them moist and plumped I try to stick to it. I buy mine at wholefoods but you can find it at http://www.amazon.com or natural beauty stores.

Last but not least is my mini perfume from ATELIER COLOGNE in ORANGE SANGUINE. I have the full size bottle in my bathroom but always carry this 0.25 oz. In my bag. The smell is so perfect…fresh but not too fresh like a hand sanitizer if you know what I mean πŸ˜‰ The smell is citrusy and fresh with a hint of sweetness. You can mix it with other perfumes. I usually wear this scent with VANILLE INSENSEE from the same brand. Truly irresistible and lasts for hours. You can find this brand at http://www.sephora.com

I will be posting more of my faves soon!!!

Chanel Les Beiges and Nails

Image

I really do try not to expose my face to the sun during Summer but still it gets tan…So that said my skin tone changes in Summer and my regular foundation shades to not work. Since I don’t use foundation everyday I didn’t want to get a new foundation with a different shade because I know I will not use it all and it will be expired by next Summer. So, anyway…I went to buy some stuff and passed by the Chanel counter (duh) and I tried the New Les Beiges Healthy Glow Fluid…Loved it. It is everything I want for the Summer. It is lighter than a foundation but still it gives me some coverage. It is a tinted moisturizer with SPF 15 and I got a perfect shade to match my tan. Good size and since it is not heavy I know I will wear it almost everyday and will be done with it by the end of the season when my skin goes back to its original shade. It gives me a beautiful glow and makes my skin tone look more uniform. I also got two new nail polish shades which I have yet to try (I will post swatches soon). The white one is shade #613 “Eastern Light” and the other one is #615 “Sweet Lilac” they look beautiful but I will let you know soon.

This is the color I purchased in N40…Blends great with my tan! Not heavy or cakey. Leaves skin with a dewy glow while covering imperfections πŸ˜‰ Have you tried any of the products from Les Beiges by Chanel?

Apples for Cheeks & Lips

Image

Hello Peeps!

So last month one of the samples I got in my Birchbox (Spain) was a lip and cheek cream color from THE BALM. I immediately fell in love with it. I went online to get it and I saw that the full size came with 6 gorgeous shades in a beautiful palette.Β  I have already tried all of them and I can already tell this will be my “go to” palette for the summer. The packaging is so pretty and vintage like all The Balm products. The texture is creamy which makes them easy to blend but not greasy at all.

The packaging like I mentioned before is beautiful and comes with a mirror!

You can play with the colors and make them as intense or as natural as you would like. My favorite shade is “Pie”. I love cream blushes because they give a much more natural finish than powder blushes in my opinion. Before I found these I was using the Chanel cream blush which was 45 Euros per shade. This palette was 25 Euros and it comes with 6 beautiful shades and they are just as good as the Chanel ones.
